"There you go again."
"What?" I snapped.
His chin moved towards me, tried to make me realize what i'm doing. "Nails."
Annoyance surged through me as I move away my hands from my mouth. Not that I'm annoyed of his warning, but more of because I was showing signs of nervousness. A weakness. In front of him.
"I don't understand why me biting my nails is so important to pointed out at this moment. I'm coping with your fucking too much information, and you just-" I stood up my chair and look away, as I didn't want to look at his scrutinizing expression right now.
"Freya."
"Freya." He repeated.
I felt my body being positioned so that I faced him again. But I didn't meet his eyes. His grey eyes were just too much. I shrank.
"Freya," his voice, soft. "What's on your express train?"
Hugh always tells me that I process things like watching from express train windows. I tend to try to calculate all of the possible things, that I overlooked important ones. Just like right now.
